Safe and Sound Health’s Reusable Ear Cleaners have been designed to remove ear wax and exfoliate the inner and outer ear. Unlike cotton buds, our ear cleaners allow you to remove irritating ear wax without damaging the eardrum or trapping tiny fibres of cotton in the ear.

One end of the double-ended ear cleaning tool has a small scoop, perfect for reaching and gently removing small pieces of earwax. The other end features a small ribbed exfoliator that scrubs away dead skin cells, helping to relieve and prevent annoying itches inside the ear canal. Both ends of the earwax removal tool indicator how far you can enter the ear canal without going too far and damaging your eardrum.

Instructions 

To use Safe and Sound Health’s Reusable Ear Cleaners to clean the ears and remove excess earwax:

1. Use the cupped end to gently scoop excess earwax from the area around the entrance to the ear canal
2. The ribbed end is used to remove excess earwax and exfoliate the out areas of the ear
3. Earwax serves a purpose to a healthy ear. Therefore this product should only be used to remove excess earwax
4. It is not recommended to use Safe and Sound Health Reusable Ear Cleaners more than once a week for removing excess earwax
5. Do not insert the Reusable Ear Cleaners deep into the ear canal or nose

Application 

Foam earplugs are compression before inserting in the ear canal, where they then expand and block out unwanted and disturbing noises. To use Safe and Sound Health’s Foam Earplugs:

1. Wash and dry hands before inserting the earplugs
2. Roll the foam earplug between your thumb and finger, pressing on it until the earplug is compression into a very thin cylinder
3. While compression, insert the earplug in the ear canal (Lifting the out ear will help to insert the earplug in the ear canal)
4. Hold the earplug in place with your fingertip until it begins to expands and fills the ear canal 
5. To remove the earplugs, gently and slowly pull them from the ears

Cleaning 

Replace your earplugs after 1-2 washes, or when they no longer return to their original shape. To clean your Safe and Sound Foam Earplugs:

1. Wash in warm soapy water
2. Thoroughly rinse the earplug

Application

Silicone earplugs are designed only to cover the ear, reducing unwanted and disturbing noises. To use Safe and Sound Health’s Silicone Earplugs:

1. Wash and dry hands before inserting the silicone earplugs
2. Shape into a ball shape with your hands
3. Place the silicone earplug over the ear opening and gently push to create an airtight seal (Do not force the earplug into the ear canal)
4. To remove the silicone earplug, push behind the ear and pull down gently on the earlobe. Once the seal is broken, gently remove from the ear opening

Discard when the silicone earplug becomes soiled or no longer sticky

Application

Wax earplugs are moulded and placed inside the ear (but not in the ear canal), reducing unwanted and disturbing noises. To use Safe and Sound Health’ Wax Earplugs:

1. Wash and dry hands before moulding and inserting the wax earplugs
2. Soften the wax by rolling and kneading the wax between your fingers (If you need to make the earplug smaller, tear off some of the wax material)
3. Shape the wax into a cone shape and push firmly into the ear (Do not push the wax deep into the ear canal)
4. Remove carefully using only your fingers (lightly pressing behind the auricle can help loosen the earplugs)
